History:
Mira Guifi was born in Sanhaiya - days east of the capitol city - in a rich, vast farming area to two parents - Michael and Annabelle. She is one of five children, the only daughter amongst four boys (two older, two younger than she). She lived a very normal life there in Sanhaiya for nine years until war broke out between It and the neighboring Kingdom to the South - Adoish. The King of Sanhaiya had promised his daughter's hand to the young Prince of Adoish, but had broke the pact that would ally the Kingdoms when the King promised the hand of his daughter to the young King of Onurin when she became of age. Enraged by the insult, the King of Adoish marched his vast army to the border of Sanhaiya in an attack that was more ambush than attack and began to fight his way into the Kingdom. People were systematically slaughtered in various hamlets spread through the land with the soldiers of Adoish proving to be too well formed, well armed, and too skilled to push back. When the soldiers started to raid the farmlands, the people knew better than to try and fight to protect their land and families. They took what they could and ran for their lives, holding onto hope all that time that the King of Sanhaiya would overcome the invasion.
Mira and her family didn't make it out. Her parents were slaughtered as were her brothers. She would have, too, been slaughtered if it hadn't of been for her accidentally saving herself. One of the Adoish Soldiers had his sword poised to slash her head from her body to meet the same fate as her family when a sharp pain went through her that caused her to fall to the ground as it usually did when she suffered visions, spouting off words as she writhed in pain, "Onurin men are coming in from the West and are going to kill all your men....they'll make their way....S...n....sou...," as she went stiff as a board, "North....where you're weakest." When she went slack, preparing for death, the soldier snarled and eased his weapon, grasping the young girl and pulling her to ride with him. While the rest raided on, he and a group of ten rode into Adoish and delivered the seer to the the King. She was nine years old.
Ten years later, she is still in the Kingdom of Adoish and under lock and key as a tool for the King. As he gets older in age and more frail, she will also be that tool for his son and his betrothed. She is not permitted to leave the Castle and, when she does, it is never alone. She hasn't forgotten about her family and home which has, since, been decimated and rebuilt gradually by Adoish architects into what the King hopes will be a sprawling city. At nineteen, she had been educated by the tutors provided to her, given all the luxuries she would need, and various other things as payment for her services to the royal family in matters of war, finance, and various other topics. She has learned to hone her skills, no longer suffering intense pain with her clairvoyance. However, she is still a prisoner there despite being treated well and fairly and she has never forgotten the murder of her family.
